HISTORY OF THE TEXAS FM BAND

Max Shumake & Rick Wylie formed the Texas FM Band in 2012 and recorded their first album in 2014. In 2013 Clint Wylie joined Texas FM Band followed by Rusty Burns who joined the band in 2015. The Band has supported various worship services in leading praise and worship and bringing the message of God’s love for his children. The band supported worship services for Texas Food Ministries in Kennedale, Texas from 2014 until 2018. From 2010 until 2018 the band was also an integral part of the worship services for Texas Friendship Ministries, a church for God’s children with special needs and abilities. In 2016, Rusty, our precious brother, completed his mission in this world and went to be with Jesus. In September, 2021, Clint, our precious son and brother, also went to be with the Lord Jesus. Rusty and Clint, live on Always & Forever in our hearts. They are very much a part of who we are. In 2021 James Dumaine joined the Texas FM Band bringing a wealth of talent as keyboard player, vocalist, audio engineer and producer. Beginning in 2021, with the formation of Texas Faith Ministries, the Texas FM Band and its members have dedicated themselves to the success of this online music ministry working to produce music and music videos for the sole purpose of worshiping and praising God in all His glory. We believe that when we sing and play to the Glory of the Lord that his Holy Spirit inhabits that praise and blessings flow forth to those that praise Him. As we sing out his praise we pray that he will make it a place for his Glory to dwell. May all glory, honor and praise be to the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
